South Pacific Health Club offers a comprehensive Learn to Swim School catering for all  levels of swimming ability and ages.

The Learn to Swim program also includes a water safety component that provide participants with the opportunity to develop water safety and survival skills in addition to stroke development.

All of our instructors hold a current AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate.

Aqua Babes - Parent & Infant Class

Aqua Babes is a parents and infant’s class for children aged six months through to 36 months.

Participants are introduced to the aquatic environment through fun and games. The lessons are child centred, allowing your child to develop at their own time and pace.

Our program is based on early childhood principles of growth and development, the environment is non-competitive and is designed to reinforce the bonding relationship between child and parent or carer.

Learn To Swim Main Stream Levels

Children learn the essential water safety skills and stroke technique in these classes based on the Royal Life Saving Society program ‘Swim and Survive’.

Our Learn to Swim program consists of ten levels from Hermit Crab through to Marlin for children to gradually progress as their skills and confidence grow.

Class numbers are kept to a maximum of 4 students in the beginner and development stages and a maximum of 5 students in the more advanced classes.

Enquire with our Swim School Department as to which level is suitable for your child.
