About Chris...
I’ve experienced a lot in the 22 years I’ve been involved in the fitness industry. From my background in martial arts, boxing, bodybuilding then power lifting, my interests now lie in a holistic approach to overall body conditioning.
I’m currently studying to become a fully-certified classical Pilates instructor, and am completing my Diplomas in Fitness and Sports Conditioning. I bring my passion for teaching to everything I do. The next step will be gaining my scuba-dive instructor qualification, and pursuing my dream of diving around the world.

Zara is a firm believer that training doesn’t always have to be about sweat!
Her philosophy is that correct technique, variety and relaxation are the keys to total health and fitness. Over the years she has loved the discipline, health benefits and artistic expression of being a professional dancer, but today more commonly enjoys yoga, Pilates, running, strength training, or anything that either gets a smile on her face or her heart rate up. If you’re finding it hard to get motivated, are lacking exercise knowledge, or simply want to work harder, then Zara’s the trainer for you.

Amy Dracup

Amy, South Pacific’s 2007 trainer of the year, has over three years experience offering SPHC clientele challenging workouts, with a strong focus on the individual. She specialises in strength and conditioning, boxing technique, core stability and flexibility. Sessions with Amy will provide you with refined training techniques, a variety of specific exercises to ensure your body performs at its best, nutritional direction and the motivation you need to succeed. Amy’s passion is getting results while having fun. With her background in sports, gymnastics and dance, Amy has a good understanding of the body and continues to seek out up-to-date training techniques to provide clients with the tools to get the lifestyle they desire. So let’s get started!

Geoff Germantis

About Geoff...
Geoff has a passion for understanding the magnificence of the human body. He started training at just 12 years of age, and is constantly exploring ways to push his body’s limit.
Geoff has tested and practised many diets from mass-building to weight loss and even detoxing to gain an understanding of how the body responds to different nutrients, combined with specific exercises.
Geoff has played over 10 sports, and knows how to prescribe appropriate exercise for specific sports.

About Chris...
Chris has been working in the fitness industry for more than 15 years, and has been with South Pacific since the doors first opened back in 2001.
Chris is SPHC’s Personal Training manager, but first and foremost he loves to work with people focusing on muscle conditioning, body fat reduction and high-intensity programs.
Originally from New Zealand, Chris has a passion for music and surfing. He also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which drives him to work with people that have sports-specific goals.

Mandy Nolte

Mandy lives her work. With 100% commitment she works to understand her clients’ specific goals and needs to design a unique exercise and nutritional program to help them reach their full potential.
Mandy has been an integral part of the team for many years, and her dedication and passion for health and well-being shows in her attitude towards her clients.
With extensive nutritional knowledge and a love for high-intensity and functional resistance training, Mandy loves to train people who are looking to get that little bit extra from their training sessions, whether it’s sports programming, weight loss, strength gain or general well being.

Kirk Parnell

About Kirk...
Growing up a short walk from the whitest sand in the world, it’s no wonder Kirk has a passion for the outdoors, and specialises in high-intensity beach training.
Kirk is able to call on his experience in surf life-saving, rugby, water polo, tennis and kiteboarding to enhance his skill set.
This shows in his training, with his strengths including proprioception, speed, balance, core strength and an overall healthy balanced lifestyle.

Cameron Peterson

Cameron is passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle, because it accompanies the desire for a balanced mind, body and soul. And achieving this results in joyous, happy living.
Cameron loves developing plans and putting them into action, seeing the goal achieved and then upgrading the plan to start the process again.
Originally hailing from South Africa, 
Cameron believes that goals become reality through daily action and taking consistent small steps forward. Cameron spent time studying and specialising in athletes, pregnancy, children, older adults and motivating people towards their program goals.

Marcus Reily

About Marcus...
Marcus leads the Group Exercise team here at South Pacific, and with over seven years experience, he is also one of our senior trainers.
Not only does he have an impressive list of skills to his name, he’s one of the funniest characters you could meet or train with.
Marcus is one of the club’s leading Spin and Body Pump instructors, and with his boxing and kick-pad qualifications you can guarantee your sessions will be full of challenge and variety.
Marcus enjoys playing tennis and water skiing in his spare time, and is always up for a good laugh.

Adam Remmers

With over 10 years experience in sport and fitness, Theodora brings to her clients a different perspective and attitude towards their training.
Theodora originally hails from Sydney, and being an elite athlete herself, specialises in training people who want to focus on strength training, weight loss, muscle tone and program planning.
With a Bachelors Degree in Health Science, and her Level 1 Athletics Coaching Certificate, Theodora can help you reach your goals through dedication and persistence, regardless of how big or small the goal may be.  

Jessie-Anne Vandertak

A relative newcomer to the SPHC team, but certainly not lacking in enthusiasm and training experience, Jess is a country girl at heart who grew up loving all things outdoors, including horse-riding, camping and hiking.
A netballer at heart, but sadly a former player (her knees are still paying the price) Jess now loves to hit the pavement or the treadmills at the gym.
As a trainer Jess is supportive, firm but fair, and determined to see her clients achieve their goals. And, with her bubbly personalty you can guarantee that her sessions will be fun and upbeat.
Specialising in weight loss and body sculpting, Jess believes that exercise should be enjoyable, not a chore. “Life is for living, not surviving!”

Anthony Woolcock

With over 20 years industry experience, Anthony brings a long list of skills to the team. Like a select few, he has been here since the club’s inception, and over the years has played his part in shaping the direction of SPHC.
